Grid-Tied Solar Solutions
Grid-tied solar systems do not utilize batteries for storage, making them the most popular solar system for residential use. Grid-tied is an ideal solution for areas where there is not much load shedding and unit prices are high. Excess energy produced through solar is exported back to the grid.
Hybrid Solar Solutions
Battery backup is included with hybrid solar solutions in case of load shedding or power outages. Extra energy can be stored in the batteries for usage at night when there is no solar production. Moreover, the user has the option to use net metering to return the surplus energy to the grid.
